Oktoberfest Cares Silent Auction

K-W Oktoberfest auctions are known to be dynamic, diverse and well patronized. The Oktoberfest Cares Silent Auction provides a robust promotional experience for all participating businesses – not to mention that it contributes to a great cause. Auction donations are being accepted until August 25^th – specifically one-of-a-kind items and unforgettable experiences. Committee members will coordinate pick up of smaller auction donations and will arrange winner pick up directly from business locations for larger items e.g. patio furniture etc. You can donate an auction item on the form below.

Be sure to mark your calendars! Place your bids during the Virtual Silent Auction starting at 10am on September 13th until bidding closes on October 10th at 9pm. Thank you for supporting the Oktoberfest Cares Silent Auction. The online auction is the first step towards the return of the signature event in 2025 called the Oktoberfest Cares Gala, formerly known as the Miss Oktoberfest Gala Ball. Stay tuned for exciting news for 2025!

Oktoberfest Cares is a special program that supports Festival initiatives that enrich our community such as the Onkel Hans Food Drive and keep admission costs low or free for favourites including the Women of the Year celebration and family-friendly events like KIDtoberfest, Thanksgiving Day Parade and Christkinderfest. Oktoberfest Cares is our organization’s commitment to community collaboration, giving back, and growing together. It’s a year-round effort that lends to our mission of truly being a supportive, uplifting, and community-driven organization. This means prioritizing our role as an economic driver for Waterloo Region and working with local businesses to create jobs and bring visitors to our region. It also means supporting our community partners by providing fundraising opportunities during our various events. And it means doing the work to ensure that our Festival is a source of community pride and a welcoming space for everyone to celebrate.

Our Impact

Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest prioritizes our role as a force for good in our community. Economic impact, tourism spending drive our local economy. We promote local volunteerism with our 300+ volunteers. Most importantly, KWO has given back to the community with for +50 years with important programs and free community events like the Women of the Year and the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
