This wunderbar opportunity brings together the women of Waterloo Region all in the Spirit of Gemütlichkeit. Join us for a morning of great speakers and networking! Over 200 guests from the local business and arts community, as well as members of the prestigious Women of the Year alumni are planning to be in attendance. The panel, moderated by Amy Schlueter, includes Olympian Mandy Bujold, ice cream engineer Ajoa Mintah and charitable tax lawyer Gwenyth Stadig.

Meet Ajoa Mintah, the mastermind behind Four All Ice Cream, where engineering meets dessert dreams! After earning her Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo in 2001, Ajoa embarked on a 16-year journey, venturing from the automotive industry’s product development to the finance sector’s technical consulting. But her heart yearned for something sweeter—literally. With a passion for making, Ajoa took a leap of faith to turn her love for ice cream into a reality.
Now, as the founder of Four All Ice Cream in Kitchener, Ajoa blends her education, diverse experiences, and unwavering creativity to craft frozen delights that defy dietary limitations. Her mission? To spread the joy of ice cream to everyone, no matter their dietary preferences or restrictions. With a knack for setting goals and solving problems, Ajoa brings a unique blend of engineering precision and culinary delight to each scoop.
Gwenyth Stadig is a lawyer with Gowling WLG. She serves as a trusted advisor, helping charities, not-for-profits, and other tax-exempt entities, as well as First Nations, Inuit, Metis, and Indigenous organizations, governments, and individuals with their respective compliance obligations. She is passionate about empowering her clients to navigate complex legal and regulatory frameworks, providing innovative solutions to the real-life challenges they face today and might encounter in the future.
Gwenyth’s approach to her clients is characterized by kindness, personal attention, direct communication and a commitment to practical solutions. She understands that each client has unique needs and goals, and by dedicating herself to learning about their individual circumstances and plans for future growth, she provides tailored legal advice that supports their objectives while efficiently and effectively communicating with their stakeholders and internal teams.
Mandy Bujold is one of the most decorated Canadian Olympic boxers in history. Included amongst her many achievements are 11 Canadian National Championships, 3 Continental Championships, a Gold medal at the first Pan American Games and a Bronze medal at the first Commonwealth Games that included women’s boxing. Mandy is also the first Canadian female boxer to represent Canada at two Olympic Games. In the lead up to Tokyo Mandy’s won a precedent setting case against the IOC, in a fight for gender equity, that will help change the landscape of women’s sports for years to come. She now works with the Grand Valley Construction Association as their Manager of Industry and Community Partnerships. She spends her time fostering community, championing health and safety, and advancing women in construction and trades.
Mandy has been recognized by KW as a Woman of Influence and named KW Citizen of the Year for her outstanding contribution to the community. In 2018, Mandy brought her passion for the community and boxing together as she founded a black-tie charity boxing event called Champions for Charity. In April, the second edition of the event raised over $340,000 for local children’s charities including McMaster Children’s Hospital, KidsAbility, and Scotland’s Yard.
